I can't get an Internet connection with my SIM card

Make sure you are within range of a cell tower from your provider. If you are connected to the provider, but the Internet does not work, it may be that, depending on the provider, that the mobile data and the access point "APN" still need to be configured. To do this, proceed as follows: 


  1. Open the system settings
  2. Navigate to "Network & Internet
  3. Now tap on Data usage and activate "Mobile data traffic" if this is not yet active. 
  4. Now navigate one step back and tap on Mobile Network and then on "Access Points" or "Access Point Names".
  5. Tap the plus button in the top right corner to add a new APN profile. 
  6. Fill in the fields with the information you got from your provider.
  7. To save the settings, tap the three dots on the top right and tap "Save".
  8. Now tap the saved profile to set it as default.



The barcode scanner does not work


If the barcode scanner does not work and the LED of the scanner does not light up when the scan buttons are pressed, this can have various causes.

The most common cause is that the decoding software is not started. Start the "Scanner Configuration" app and make sure that the "Enable Scanner" switch is activated (green background).
