Basic troubleshooting


The removable battery does not charge

  • Make sure the AC adapter is properly connected and the removable battery is properly inserted.


Nothing is displayed on the screen

  • The tablet may be in sleep mode. Press the power button to wake up the display.
  • The brightness may be set too low. Increase the brightness.


The screen suddenly goes black and the power indicator goes off

  • Make sure that the power adapter is properly connected. 
  • If the device is running on battery power, the battery may be dead. Charge the battery.


The quality of the wireless LAN signal is poor

  • The tablet may be out of range. Move the tablet closer to the access point or another wireless LAN device that is connected to it.
  • Check if there is any interference in your environment, such as microwave ovens, cordless phones. Move the tablet away from objects that cause interference.


The WLAN connection drops out even though the range is sufficient.

  • (Windows version) Check if an updated WLAN driver is available: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/30542/Windows-10-Wi-Fi-Drivers-for-Intel-Wireless-Adapters
  • Install the new driver and reboot the device.
  • If the system still persists, proceed as follows:
    • Open the device manager. Right-click Wireless-AC 7625 and then click Properties.
    • Click on "Advanced" and then on "Channel width for 2.4 GHz".  Set the value to 20 MHz only.
    • Click on "Channel width for 5 GHz".  Set the value to 20 MHz only.
    • Click on "Transmit power" and set it to "5 Highest".
    • Restart the system.



I cannot connect to another wireless LAN device

  • Make sure that the wireless LAN function is turned on.
  • Make sure the SSID setting is the same for each wireless LAN device on the network.
  • Reboot the tablet.
  • Make sure the IP address or subnet mask setting is correct.


Once my tablet is in the car cradle / docking station, I am offline.

  • Make sure that the LAN function is turned on.
  • Make sure the SSID setting is the same for each wireless LAN device on the network.
  • Reboot the tablet.
  • Make sure the IP address or subnet mask setting is correct.
  • If you are using Android: Android always prioritizes the wired network interface over a wireless network connection. If you have connected the station to a network, the tablet will always try to connect via the LAN connection.


I cannot connect to another device with Bluetooth.

  • Make sure that both devices have Bluetooth turned on.
  • Make sure the distance between the two devices is 10 meters max and there are no walls or major obstacles between the devices.
  • Make sure both devices are turned on and configured to be detected.
  • Make sure that both devices are compatible.

The GPS application cannot find my location

  • Make sure that the GPS is turned on.
  • Make sure the GPS receiver and location sensor are enabled in the control panel.
  • The tablet may be out of range of reception.
  • Move the tablet outside or closer to a window.
  • Check for interference in your environment, such as microwave ovens, cordless phones. Move the tablet away from objects that cause interference.


No sound is output

  • Adjust the volume of the tablet by pressing the volume rocker. 
  • If you are using an external audio device, make sure the cable is connected properly.


My computer takes a long time to boot up

  • Make sure that all necessary updates are installed. During the installation process of updates, it is possible that the computer takes longer to boot up.
  • Disable unnecessary programs and features to speed up the computer's performance.
