Problem description: The battery only charges up to a level of 80%.


Possible causes: 


  • The device may have a EC firmware installed that restricts charging. With this firmware, the device only charges up to a maximum of 80%.


Possible solutions:


  • Update the EC firmware to remove the charging limitation. You can find the download at www.werocktools.com under ‘Support’ in the download area. Enter the serial number of your device to access the download page. Download the folder with the update and follow the provided instructions to update the firmware.
