Bluetooth technology enables wireless communication between devices over short distances without the need for a wired connection. Data can be transmitted through walls, bags, and briefcases as long as two devices are within range.


Using the Bluetooth function (Windows) 


Turning Bluetooth radio on and off  

To turn on Bluetooth radio:

  1. Click the Windows icon → "Settings" → "Devices" → "Bluetooth".
  2. Slide the Bluetooth switch to the "On" position.

To turn off the Bluetooth radio:

You can turn off the Bluetooth radio the same way you turn it on. Slide the Bluetooth switch to the "Off" position.

If you want to quickly turn off all wireless connections, simply turn on Airplane Mode.

Connecting to another Bluetooth device


  1. Make sure the Bluetooth function is enabled (as described above). 2. make sure the Bluetooth function is enabled.
  2. Make sure the target Bluetooth device is turned on, discoverable, and nearby. (Refer to the documentation provided with the Bluetooth device).
  3. Click the Windows icon → "Settings" → "Devices" → [Bluetooth]. 4.
  4. Select the device you want to connect from the search results.
  5. Depending on the type of Bluetooth device you want to connect to, you will need to enter the appropriate information.

Using the Bluetooth function (Android)

Switching the Bluetooth radio on and off 

To switch on the Bluetooth radio:

  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen with your finger to get to the quick settings.
  2. Tap or click on the "Bluetooth" button to switch the Bluetooth radio on or off.

Connecting with another Bluetooth device

  1. Make sure that the Bluetooth function is activated (as described above).
  2. Make sure that the target Bluetooth device is switched on, recognizable and nearby. (See the documentation supplied with the Bluetooth device).
  3. Swipe down from the top of the screen with your finger to access the quick settings.
  4. Tap and hold the "Bluetooth" button for one to two seconds to access the "Connected devices" menu.
  5. Tap or click on "Pair new device"
  6. Select your target device from the list of available devices by pressing or clicking on it.
  7. Depending on the type of Bluetooth device you want to connect to, you will need to enter the relevant information.
