Operating Modes
The camera can be operated in different modes:ยด
Standard Mode
In standard mode, the acquisition starts as soon as the acquisition button is pressed. Press and hold the record button (8) to switch on the device.
Prerecording Mode
In prerecording mode, the camera continuously records what is happening. As soon as the recording is started, the last 60 seconds are also stored. Prerecording mode must be activated via the "Camera Tool" software.
Live Stream Mode
The Impakt BC200 can also act as a live camera and stream directly to a smartphone (Access Point Mode) or via an existing WLAN network to another device (Station Mode). The live stream mode must be activated via the "Camera Tool" software
Activating the infrared mode
Briefly press the photo and function key (key A+B) simultaneously to activate the infrared mode. This is ideal for taking pictures in very dark conditions. You can also activate the automatic brightness detection via the settings in the "Camera Tool". Then the bodycam automatically switches to night vision mode in darkness. If the automatic mode ("Auto IR") is activated, the function can also be operated. However, if the camera has the impression that it is too bright, the infrared mode is deactivated again.
Activating the Stealth Mode
By pressing the photo button for a long time, the camera can be switched to stealth mode. This deactivates all LEDs (including the infrared LEDs) as well as the audio output. There is no way for outsiders to tell if the camera is on or not.
Hint Please consider the legal situation of your country regarding stealth mode. The use of stealth cameras is not allowed in many countries.. |
