Problem description: No connection is possible via the mobile network (4G/LTE).


Possible causes:


  • The mobile network is switched off.
  • Flight mode is activated.
  • You are in an area without mobile network service.
  • Electronic devices in the vicinity are causing interference.
  • The SIM card is not recognised or is inserted incorrectly.
  • The SIM card is locked.
  • The SIM card is defective.
  • The mobile phone settings (APN) are not configured correctly.
  • You are abroad and roaming is deactivated.
  • You have a tariff with limited data volume and this has been used up.


Possible solutions:


  • Make sure that the mobile network is switched on.
  • Make sure that flight mode is deactivated.
  • Restart the tablet.
  • Check whether the SIM card is recognised correctly and inserted correctly.
  • Check whether the SIM card is locked and enter the PIN for the SIM card if necessary.
  • Move to an area with mobile network service.
  • Make sure that the mobile phone settings (APN) are correct. Ask your mobile phone provider for the correct settings. Further information on the settings can be found in the chapter ‘Adjusting the mobile phone settings’.
  • Check whether there is any interference in your surroundings, e.g. microwave ovens, cordless phones. Move the tablet away from objects that cause interference.
  • Activate roaming when you are outside of your home country.
